Each shipment is run against destination-market import rules at the proforma invoice stage — HS-code classification (8703 for passenger cars, 8704 for goods vehicles), age and emissions limits, COC, EAC or SASO requirements, and RHD/LHD compliance. Counterparties are screened against China MOFCOM and OFAC sanctioned-country lists before the contract is signed, and Incoterms (FOB / CIF / CFR / DAP) are documented explicitly so risk transfer, freight responsibility and insurance coverage are unambiguous on the B/L.

Every unit passes a 40+ point pre-shipment checklist before loading — exterior panel and paint condition, undercarriage, fluids, drivability, tyre and brake wear, infotainment and HVAC. For EV and PHEV units we additionally verify state of charge, charging port handshake (GB/T, Type 2, CCS where applicable), BMS error codes and onboard charger output. Time-stamped photos, video walk-arounds and third-party inspection reports (BV, SGS, JEVIC) are archived per VIN so the vehicle's condition at port of loading is documented for any later dispute.
Buyer assumes risk and costs once the vehicle is loaded on the vessel at the port of shipment.
