The TANK 300 is the volume seller and the most export-shipped TANK model. It's a body-on-frame mid-size SUV with full-time 4WD, available with 2.0T petrol and 2.0T Hi4-T plug-in hybrid powertrains. The retro-square styling resonates strongly with import dealers serving lifestyle buyers in the Gulf and East Africa.
The TANK 500 and 700 move the brand into full-size off-road luxury — V6 petrol and Hi4-T PHEV options, three-row seating on the 500, and a coupe-SUV variant in the 500 lineup. The 700 Hi4-T is the brand's halo SUV: a hand-finished interior, V6 hybrid powertrain delivering 462 hp combined, and full off-road locking differentials. The 800, launched recently, sits above the 700 with a more luxury-oriented positioning.
A note on duty classification: TANK vehicles are typically classified as SUVs (HS 8703.24 or 8703.32) in most destination markets, not pickups — buyers should confirm with their customs broker before pricing.
Lead time is 30-60 days; the higher-end models (500, 700, 800) are typically factory-allocated rather than stock, and orders ship from Baoding via Tianjin port. Container shipping is the default; we have not seen RoRo work well for TANK vehicles given the lack of regular sailings on TANK-friendly routes.
