For dealers, fleet buyers and importers in our core markets — sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America, the Caribbean and the Middle East — BYD has become the default first order. The reason is unit economics: a new BYD Atto 3 lands CIF for roughly the cost of a 5-year-old Japanese hybrid sedan, but sells in destination at near-double that price because it is new, electric, and feature-loaded.

The export-relevant range splits cleanly into three families. The DM-i plug-in hybrids (Qin Plus, Song Plus, Seal U) are the right answer for markets where public charging is still developing — buyers get full EV behavior around town and a 1.5L petrol generator for highway and back-up. The pure BEV line (Atto 3, Dolphin, Seal, Yuan Plus) suits markets with reliable grid power, urban density and EV-friendly duties. The Denza and Yangwang sub-brands cover the premium end.

Sino Gear ships BYD vehicles in 20' and 40' HC containers (typically 2-3 units per 40' HC depending on model) and via RoRo from Shanghai, Tianjin and Shenzhen. Every export VIN ships with the English-language UI confirmed, a GB/T-to-Type 2 (or NACS, by request) charging adapter so home charging works on day one, and OEM warranty registration filed before bill of lading.

Lead time is typically 15-30 days from deposit to vessel for stock units, longer for factory orders on Denza or Yangwang. Most side-business buyers in our customer base start with 2-3 Atto 3 or Song Plus DM-i units in a single container, paid 30% T/T deposit and 70% on B/L.
