1. Who we are

This website (sinogear-auto.com) is operated by Sino Gear Power Technology Co., Limited ("Sino Gear", "we", "our"), a Chinese vehicle export company based at Shangqilian Center, Hefei, Anhui, China. 2. What we collect

We collect a limited set of information:

• Technical data automatically logged by our hosting infrastructure: IP address, browser type, device, referring page, and pages viewed.
• Analytics & advertising data through the Meta (Facebook) Pixel — page views, button clicks (such as "Request Quote on WhatsApp"), and the URL of the page where the event occurred.
• Contact data you choose to share when you message us on WhatsApp, send us an email, or fill out a request-for-quote form. This may include your name, company, country, phone number, the vehicle models you are interested in, and your destination port.

We do not require account registration to browse the site, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

3. Why we use it

• Respond to your inquiry — when you contact us, we use the information you share to prepare quotations, shipping plans and documentation.
• Improve the site — aggregated traffic and event data tells us which vehicles get the most interest and where buyers drop off.
• Measure and target our advertising on Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp) so we show relevant content to people likely to be interested in Chinese vehicle exports.
• Meet legal and accounting obligations — invoices, export declarations and similar documents may be retained as required by Chinese law and the regulations of the destination market.

4. Third-party services we use

We rely on these external service providers; each has its own privacy policy that governs the data they handle on our behalf:

• Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook Pixel, WhatsApp Business) — see Meta's Privacy Policy.
• Cloudinary — image and video delivery (CDN). No personal data is intentionally sent; standard HTTP request metadata (IP, user agent) is processed for media delivery.
• MongoDB Atlas — stores site content (vehicle catalog, news, media library) for our admin team. It does not store visitor data.
• Server hosting provider — keeps standard HTTP access logs for security and reliability monitoring.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

The Meta Pixel sets a small number of first- and third-party cookies in your browser to recognize you across sessions for advertising measurement. Your browser allows you to block or delete these cookies at any time; doing so will not break the site, but you may see less relevant ads from Meta.

6. How long we keep your data

• Inquiry messages and quotations: up to 3 years from last contact, so we can serve repeat business and answer follow-up questions.
• Server access logs: up to 90 days.
• Accounting and export documentation: kept for the periods required by Chinese tax law and destination-market customs regulations.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port or restrict the personal data we hold about you, and to withdraw consent for advertising tracking. To exercise any of these rights, email us at sales@sinogear-auto.com with your request and we will respond within 30 days.

You can also opt out of Meta ad tracking directly via your Facebook account settings or your device's advertising controls.

8. International transfers

Because we are based in China and use service providers headquartered in other countries (notably the United States), your information may be transferred to and processed outside your home jurisdiction. We rely on the providers' own safeguards and standard contractual protections.

9. Changes to this policy

When we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, post a notice on the homepage. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
